Founder's Story
DESIGNED TO STAND OUT
Interior Design has always been a passion of mine. Shortly after beginning at the New York School of Interior Design, I knew this was what I was meant to be doing! My first design job, 22 years ago, was at a family owned firm in New Jersey. We designed homes in the prestigious area of Montclair, NJ, in Manhattan - overlooking Central Park, and homes on the Henry Ford Estate in Savannah, Georgia.
I also had the opportunity to work for Anthropologie as a Visual Manager for several years, igniting a different perspective in how to approach color theory, texture, merchandising, space planning, and visual display. In addition to Interior Design, I have worked on multiple creative platforms that have led me to where I am today - including The High Museum of Art, Landscape Design, Visual Manager, Artist, and Design/Display expert. I’ve also worked as an Assistant General Manager at the Dallas Zoo with oversight of extensive project management and people development.
Designing homes for clients brings me so much joy because I get to help people realize their vision and make their house a home. I want to make them feel like they are being taken care of every step of the way. From consultation, planning, sourcing, finishes, construction project management/partnerships, to procurement and completion. Just know you’re in great hands and we will be communicating throughout the entire process.
I have worked within all design aesthetics - from modern farmhouse to traditional. We’ll also work within your budget sourcing items that will suit your needs. Artbuckle & Co. does full remodel design, new construction, single room makeovers, income properties, home staging, and retail store floorsets/merchandising. I live in Sunnyvale, TX with my amazing family! I’m a mother of a rambunctious 5 year old son who attends Kingdom Kids and have an amazing 17 year old step daughter! With God being an important part of our lives, my family attends church at Life Community here in Sunnyvale. My fiance Matt and I frequent Hope Coffee as well, so you may catch us up there (it’s a real problem - but have you tried the Sunnyvale Latte!?).
